Along with my wife we first stayed at the Elton two years ago.It was perfect then, starting with a warm welcome from both Jean & Shaun, spotlessly clean & warm rooms.Lovely breakfast.Also a games room with pool table & darts for guests.With the bonus of car park directly opposite the house.Overall this is definitely one of the best places we have stayed. Would we return obviously yes.- David D

The hotel is situated near the village's high street and the train station, as well as the promenade, which is ideal for easy, long walks. We got the top room which was very spacious and with large windows, and a very good shower, anytime of the day. But what really stand out are the hosts, which answered every question and request promptly as well as the cooked breakfast which was really tasty. Will definitely stay again next time we visit the Lakes. - Dimitrios B
